Liverpool in terrible form is hosting one of the hottest teams in the World at the moment. Liverpool and Benitez are under huge pressure after long run of bad results. At the weekend Liverpool lost in FA Cup from Barnsley who is on 14th place in one division lower than Premier League. Benitez and his rotating system made Liverpool very inconsistent and now he is one step from getting kick-out. He had huge support from the crowd, but with every match that huge support is becoming smaller and smaller.

Inter is playing very confident and has many inform players. At the moment I rate Inter as one of the top 3 teams in the world. They are playing pretty well in every aspect of the game, despite some rare mistakes in the defense.

We have here, the host team, Liverpool, team with great tradition when playing at home, but in very bad form, with very low level of confidence, and Inter team with great form, with great atmosphere in the team, with huge confidence. Benitez’s style of coaching gives to much concentration on Euro cups and that is why Liverpool should not be underestimated tonight, but I think that Inter will sign-up Benitez’s death-penalty.

Liverpool will be without Agger and Voronin but that will not affect their play, because Agger is long term absence and Voronin is fourth option in the attack. Inter will be without Jimenez and have doubts over Figo and Vieira.

I expect hard battle in the midfield, very probably low scoring match, because Rafa cannot allow to open their game and attack with bigger strength because one conceded goal will mean, imo, bye bye quarter-finals.
