Gilles Simon is outside the clay 5-14 against lefties. At indoorhards he is 52-26 but against top100 players only 10-16. Feliciano Lopez is 29-27 at indoorhard but 18-15 against top 100. Rotterdam surface isn’t the fastest surface and that’d be an advantage for Simon who’s ballrall abilities are better but Vienna as the “slowest” indoorhard is Lopez’s favouritesurface and he keeps 11-3 record from there and that makes me to believe he has good chances at Rotterdam too. There might partly the win over Djokovic to make Simon’s odd lower but it’s most likely Djokovic lost on purpose or better said didn’t try enough. Lopez’s only win this year is at AO over Odesnik but he hasn’t lost for weaker players. Last week his lost against Karlovic was a closeone and considering how Karlovic destroyed his opponent today Lopez can’t be in bad form.
