Champions League - Olympiakos vs Chelsea Football betting preview

The Champions League is coming back after the winter break. Chelsea have definitely the easiest rival of all English teams but it’s not the only reason I’m backing them to win the game against Olympiakos. The most important factor is that Chelsea will have all their most important players ready when it really matters most. They have dealt with their missing players very well in the past two months and now they welcome back Terry, Lampard who were injured for a long time and Mikel, Essien, Kalou and Drogba who all took part in CAN. And I really believe that’s too much for Olympiakos. Olympiakos did surprise me in their group, I must admit. I thought Real were out of reach and Lazio, Werder and Olympiakos had the same chances of finishing second. But I surely didn’t expect them to have such a big advantage over Werder and Lazio, that’s 5 and 6 point respectively, and to finish equal on points with Real. Olympiakos haven’t lost at home all season long but this is a different stage of the competition and I expect Chelsea to dominate. They surely can play big games away from home and I believe at full strength they’re going to play for the win tomorrow and won’t start the game concentrating on getting a draw. The odds are good so I’m taking Chelsea to win it as the more experienced side and a team that even might go for glory in the CL this year.
