Nuneaton had a set back at the weekend as they lost 2-0 away to Burscough which in fairness wasn't unexpected after Burscough had beaten League leaders Kettering at home earlier on in the week. Before that loss Nuneaton had been displaying their best form of the season with the club eagerly looking at a play off spot.

Worcester City also come off the back of a poor loss at the weekend but theirs was far worse than Nuneaton's. Worcester lost against League strugglers Hucknall at home and my reports tell me they looked tired and jaded. This is the time of year to watch out for the teams who look unfit, especially at non league level where most footballers go to their day jobs and train part time. Nuneaton won the reverse fixture away from home 4-0 in November and have not lost to Worcester in the last 7 games.

A win here would take Nuneaton into 4th place providing Southport don't win against an inform Stalybridge side. Mid week away games at Non League level can be tough at the best of times let alone facing a Nuneaton side who have only lost 2 games at home all year.
