Modena is comfortably sitting on the 10th place in the league, currently 11 points behind playoff spot and 12 points above relegation table. Their latest results are quite promising, but it is also true they played against easy opponents. They won over Piacenza (they are awful away from home) & Grosetto, whilst took a point against Spezia and Treviso. Chievo on the other hand are currently 2nd in the league due to a goal difference. Their main task this season is returning to Serie A and they are on a good way. They are one of the best away teams with a 8-2-2 record. It is still a long way to go till the ond of the season, but visitors should be the ones more motivated, as they are chasing a direct promotion, while hosts can`t go up nor down. Besides two very important players won`t play for Modena and that is a big blow for them. Chievo also miss a few players, but none as important.
