This is a long term bet for the Winners of this years Super 14,alot of taklent is gone from the Super 14 this season particualy in the African sides,I really own rate two sides worthy of winning the Super 14 this season due to players leaving and retiring and those two sides are the Waratahs from NSW and this side the Auckland Blues from New Zealand,both these sides have great rosters and it really is a toss up for me between these two sides,however I think the Blues have the little bit more and I'll back them into winning this years Super 14.

Afoa,Braid,Evans,haiu,Kaino,McCartney,Munro,Pisi,Toeava,Smith,White,Wulf,Atiga,Collins,Flavell,Heard.Lee,Mealamu,Murray,Rokocoko,Smylie,Tololima-Auva'a,Williams,Boric,Evans,Goebel,Helleur,Lowrey,Moa,Nacewa,Smith,Stanley,Tuitavake and Woodcock.

The Blues seem to be the only side who are still struggling to come to terms with the new Union rules this season in Preseason games,however with this Squad and players missing for other Teams they have a very good shot with the Waratahs of winning this competition,they have Nick Evans along with Isa Nacewa in their squad who both are teriffic playmakers and never stop trying,they have immense speed in Smith,and Rokocoko on the wings,fantastic centres in Toeava and Atinga and a forward pack that would be the envy of any of the Super 14 sides with the likes of Mealamu,Collins,Flavell,Braid,Kaino,Haiu and Tololima-Auva'a who is you have never heard of him he will be a very,very good player in years to come and is pretty handy also right now.

Their Scedule is a good one with their first up match this week at Eden Park facing the Cheifs,they then go to South Africa to play 3 away matches against the Lions,Cheetahs and Sharks and then return back to Auckland to face the Force,Stormers and Bulls before heading to Sydney to face in what could be the match of the season the Waratahs then come back to face the Brumbies at home,they then have a bye and finish their season off with matches against the Crusaders(A),Reds(A),Highlanders(A) and finish the round robin against the Hurricans at Eden Park.

As I have said certain teams have lost players and certain teams have alot of injurys,none more so that the Bulls,Crusaders and Brumbies,the Waratahs have recrutied very well and have a strong forward pack and backline as do the Blues,I rate the Blues this season as the strongest of all the Kiwi sides and the only side who if they can hit their straps to match up well with them is the Tahs,I think those two teams will play in this years final and the Blues to get it...Just...take the Blues to win this years Super 14...Good Luck.
