Aston Villa have the wind behind him and Blackburn can't stop them in this game in my opinion.

Aston is sitting in the 6th place with 40 points and they're looking for a European place at the end of the season. For now, the squad is settled and wverybody knows each other. Striker Carew is also back from from injury. Two promising strikers Agbonlahor and Young are playing behind him. This season Aston don't have a problem to score with these attacking style. They have scored 42 goals so far and one of the most scorers in premiership.

The only concern is Gareth Barry for Aston Villa. He's the heart of the defence and is a doubt for this game.

Blackburn got good results in the last weeks but opponents were weaker than them such as sunderland, Derby and Bolton (don't have a striker). However, they saved a point from Middlesbrough in the last minutes and if Boro striker were more skillful Boro could surely won the game. Blackburn's tactic depends on Pedersen's performance mostly. Besides, important defender Ryan Nelsen is unavailable.

Aston is strong at the moment and home win is likely acceptable here.
