Cote d'Ivoire play their second match in Group (B) after beating arguably their main competitor in the group in the first round.

After watching the first round, and assuming performances of teams will not vary, I can only see three teams winning this tournamet so far, they are -and in this chronological order- Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Egypt, & Nigeria. Definitely, Cote d'Ivoire are my favourites at the moment.

Their first match against Nigeria showed how they can finish a game at any moment. One should not rule them out even if they're down in the dying minutes. Fortunately, in this match the opposition is not strong enough to pose any threats or even to compete against the elephants.

On the other hand, Benin were beaten in their first match against Mali by a single goal score by Kanoute from the spot. The match clearly showed that it was a hard fought match but not sue to the strength of the Bennoise team. Rather, it was due to the weakness of Mali.

Verdict: I expect Drogba and Co. not to suffer as Kanoute & Co. did. A goal scored in each half should be very enough to win this bet. Accordingly, I'll go with the Ivoirians.
