HT Egypt 3 Cameroon 0 - and that is of course exactly what happens when you dont bet on your team Threepwood, not that you'll be upset. Those classy forwards have made all the difference.. they play in France i believe?

bad luck those of us that went for Sudan. Zambia didnt really deserve that scoreline - had i been shown the game without seeing the goals i think i'd have definetly went for Sudan. A lack of a quality striker cost the team dearly.

Sorry for misleading you guys.. But had I had to bet again on this match, I'd go for Sudan again. I can't believe this number of missed chances.

I was really happy to see the game btwn Zaambia and Sudan they both play very well booth had good chances but Zambia had three in by the end of the game. It was interesting to watch.

This is definitely misjudged by the bookies and the punter as well. I believe Sudan should the be the side favoured here to grab the win and not vice versa. Odds started around 1.80 on Sudan double chance but here they are at 2.00. So if you could be a little bit patient, you could grab even better odds. I myself will settle with the evens on the double chance.
Here are my reasons for this bet:
First of all, Sudan are a strong team and they have proved this already in the qualifiers where they managed to to beat Tunisia and eventually top the group. In recent years, they have been improving a lot managing to draw against both Cote d'Ivoire and Cameroon in the 2006 WC qualifiers. They have also managed to win 5 out of 6 games in the ACN qualifiers scoring 13 goals and conceding only 4.
Second, The sudanese National team consists of players from only two teams. 12 players have been selected from AlHilal who managed to reach the semi final in the African Champions League. The other 11 players come from AlMarrikh, the team that managed to reach the CAF Cup final but eventually lost the title. Although, this is a bit weird but it also means more harmony between players who have already proved they can do very well in Africa.
Finally, Zambia will miss their best couple of players in this match whom are the strikerKatongo and the midfielder Chansa due to suspension. The earlier picked his second yellow against South Africa in the last game in the qualifiers, while the latter got red carded in the same game. The Brondby striker will be sorely missed especially he was the hero who grabbed them their ticket to Ghana after scoring three decisive goal agaisnt South Africa in their last match.
Verdict: I believe Sudan will manage to win this one but I'll play it safe and will be satisfied by a bet on the double with full stakes.
Good Luck
