ATP - Yen-Hsun Lu vs Marc Gicquel Tennis betting preview

Yen-Hsun Lu was very talented player as younger. If you'll read from wikipedia he won names like Ancic, Soderling and Kohlschreiber when he was junior. After that something went wrong. Lu has had number of continuos injuries but the potential should still there somewhere. At Hopman Cup he won Chela, took a set from Djokovic and lost for Clement. For me these results are showing he is getting better and likely it's because he is injuryfree from a long time.

Marc Gicquel, 31 years old has some better results from latest years compared to his earlier career but he shouldn't be big player on the hard surface. He started his season losing for Vliegen in straight sets. Vliegen had last year guttless season. Last year maintournaments 2-5 and year before that 5-4. Lu's last years on the hard on maintournaments are 3-8, 1-5, 3-4 but on the challengerlevel he is 80-37 from same time. Giqcuel 16-7.

As far as I know both players has decent serves and when Lu has played 70% from his matches on the hard surface that makes me wonder the odds. Gicquel is better known player and Lu less known but for me it looks like Lu is filled with bigger potential than Gicquel. Hard for me to tell which player should be the favourite so going with the dog.
