NHL - Calgary Flames vs New York Islanders Hockey betting preview

Here is one more match I fancy tonight. The Islanders have been punchless of late and in fact, they only have 2 points to start their current road trip. The goaltending of DiPietro has been outstanding for the Islanders however, and if it weren't for him, they would have 0 points on this trip. However, even with amazing goaltending, they have still been losing games and points like they are going out of style.

On the other hand, you have the Flames. Calgary was cooled off with a 3-1 home loss to Phoenix on Tuesday that ended its five-game win streak. That is the best thing that could have happened for us here. Now that they have lost, they can get back to their winning ways and will be keen to record the victory here. Also interesting to note is that on Tuesday night, Calgary's red-hot duo of captain Jarome Iginla and linemate Kristian Huselius was held without a point. The two had combined for 13 goals and nine assists in the previous five games. Well, after being held without a point, I'm sure these two will come out with aggression and tons of motivation to carry us to victory here.

Overall, I was considering taking the Flames at -1.5...however, I feel like guaranteeing myself a nice victory...so I will take the Flames to win outright in a nice, sure fire moneymaker for me here tonight. Good luck all.
