Avangard is one of the biggest dissapointments this season. They are only 10th, with slim chances of getting higher on the table, in fact they could get even more down. For team that used to be Top3 material it's really bad result. Their form is also bad, atmosphere in team too, they haven't won last six games in regular time, they have only two wins in OT, everything else is a big zero. And they didn't had tough schedule as they've faced teams like Novokuzneck, Torpedo and Neftekhimik, all bottom teams, so MVD should be a hard nut to crack.

MVD already proved it on home ice, beating Avangard just two weeks ago with 5:2. Currently they are in top form, beating a lot of "strong" teams and scoring high. They jumped over Omsk on table and they intend to keep it that way. So, this is direct fight for Play-off places, Avangard is currently in a hole, while MVD is playing on the best. Avangard beat them only once with more then one goal difference in last eight games, meetings this season:

I don't expect MVD to lose in regular time, even if they do i think it will be minimal goal difference.
