NBA - Detroit Pistons vs Boston Celtics Basketball betting preview

Today the Detroit Pistons (26-7) host the Boston Celtics (28-3) . My pick for this one is Pistons -2.

Both of these teams are red hot. The Pistons are on a 11 game winning streak and the Celtics are on an 8 game winning streak. This is going to be an excellent match up and perhaps a NBA championship series preview.

My reason for going with the Pistons is based on the fact that even though the Celtics are dominating they are slowly showing signs of slowing down. In the Celtics previous game celtics star Ray Allen went 0-9 from the floor . Luckily the reserves were able to clean up for him . Which brings me to my next point in that last night the Celtics overworked their bench and will be sluggish coming into todays game against the Pistons.

Home court advantage is also a big factor in this game. The Pistons will have the home court and where they are

(13-2) . A big advantage for the Pistons.

The Pistons won the previous match up with the Celtics in a very close game taking it by only two points. I dont see this game being as close as the last match up between these two teams.

The numbers show the celtics having the number 1 defense in the league ....however their defense as of late has not been very spectacular .....they are allowing more points to be made and are giving up points off of turnovers. Last night they beat the Grizzlies by only four points allowing them to put up 96 points! In atleast 5 of the Celtics last games they have been allowing well above the average score by the opposition. The Pistons on the other hand have been steady and consistant

The Pistons will out defend the Celtics and win this one.
