Premiership - Blackburn vs Sunderland Football betting preview

The final bet from me for today comes from Ewood Park where Blackburn are entertaining Sunderland.

Blackburn got back to winning ways on Sunday with a solid victory over Derby in a game where in fact they could have quite easily of won by more than the one goal margin which they had in the end won by. They created some very decent chances. Up front they have the very much in form Santa Cruz and McCarthy to call upon and with wide players like Bentley and Gamst Pedersen, they will defiently provide decent balls into the box. The centre of the park aswell i suspect they will win the battle here which is always a key area in football with Tugay and more than likely Mokoena/Dunn in there to partner him. Defensivly they are also pretty solid and Samba could also return here which would be important as he could also nulify the ability of Jones in the air.

Defensivly, i don't think Sunderland have enough quality to go to Ewood Park and collect any sort of result. McShane has been abit suspect so far this season in the centre and Higgingbotham is also unproven at this level and with players like Santa Cruz and McCarthy, i dont see this being good enough for Sunderland in this game. The centre of the midfield is also not very strong IMO either. Admitidly, Etuhu is a big strong lad but he doesn't have that much ability. Up front Jones will be a threat but i feel blackburn are big enough and strong enough to deal with his physical and heading abilitys.

Overall, Blackburn will have to much for Sunderland in this game for me and will win this. Worst result is our Units returned,
