Füchse Duisburg - Hamburg Freezers

Duisburg suprisingly axed coach Peter Draisaitl yesterday. He did quite a good job (Füchse won 8 of 20 games with him), considering the limited opportunities there. After Didi Hegen, Draisaitl was already the 2nd coach this season. Duisburg are looking for a non-german coach now and are already planning for next season. Interim coach until end of the season is assistant coach Karel Lang.

Since national goalkeeper Müller left the club, bottom club Dusiburg lost 5 of their last 6 games.

Hamburg currently not on a pre-playoff spot. They had to play against 3 of the current Top 4 clubs in their last 3 games and lost twice after leading 2:0. Pressure on Freezers coach now and they must win against the worst team of the league.
