Two teams that are in way different trend meet tonight in Eliteserien. Sodertalje was on rock bottom, everyone already said good bye to them, but then they entered incredible streak, wining last four and are now in the race for Play-off. They've won Lulea, MoDo, Djurgardens and Frolunda in recent games and now atmosphere is great, they are looking to Play-offs and they expect fifth win in a row tonight. Still, supporters don't trust them and on their last home win, incredible 7:0 over Frolunda hall was half empty. Team for this match is almost complete, they will miss only less important Ljungqvist, Valtonen and Richter.

Before the season Timra was one of the title contenders. They still are, but their recent form is in downtrend, and they fell for few positions. Recently they've lost to Brynas, Mora in OT and leader HV-71. In the meantime they've also lost to Allsvenskan team Sundsvall in friendly after they had 2:0 lead. Still, they didn't forget to play, and i think they will bounce back someday. They have a lot to play for, 2nd place is near (HV-71 on the first is currently untouchable). Biggest Timra's weapon is their solid defense which doesn't allow many shots, they don't score much either so their games usually finish with small number of goals. That especially goes for their away games in which they made only four overs in 15 games, twice with Mora, and once with Lulea and Farjestadt. Not a big surprises though as all that teams tend to "overs".

Sodertalje isn't over team either, they play very defensive, and they are very unefficient, most unefficient team in league in fact. They also have worst PP efficency. Same as Timra, on their games you can see only few goals, at 15 home games they made only 4 overs, twice against Frolunda, once against Lulea and Linkopings. Against teams that don't play too open and have solid defense they didn't go over this line, i don't expect it to happen today either. As you can see they hardly managed to go over five goals in two games combined and i expect that low scoring trend to continue. Both teams have a lot to play for, Sodertalje for Play-off (and to avoid Play-out or relegation), Timra to stop downtrend and climb back to 2nd spot. In this match both teams should go cautious and fight with their strongest weapon - defense.
