I'll be short in this one. Here i see huge difference in current form, along with better quality of hosts and home advantage home win is what we should expect today.

Nurnberg is W10-D3-L2 58:25 at home this season, while Ingolstadt away is very poor with W3-D4-L8 38:53. Current home/away form also shows this difference, Nurnberg won last four games at home (one in OT), while Ingolstadt lost last four away games with goal difference of 10:24!

Nurnberg is battling for 2nd place with Koln and Frankfurt, while Ingolstadt is one eight place but can go up or way down immediately.

To see how teams play currently i'll make short comment about their last games. Nurnberg won away against Straubing after being 0:2 down at the begining of 2nd period. By the end of the period it was already 4:2, and in the third they made it for the final 5:2. Arena was sold out (5800 spectators), it was first time this season, and mostly because of Nurnberg fans which were very numerous (over 1500).

Ingolstadt on the other side has problems, especially in away games. They can sometimes beat bottom teams, but they didn't managed to win against any of top teams. In last match with Krefeld they made great effort and managed to win 4:3 at the end with a lots of turnovers and it was very intense match. Ingolstadt currently isn't team to back, especially away, and fact is that Nurnberg lately doesn't fit them.

Tradition says that Ingolstadt won most of their mutual meetings in recent years, but if we look only last few games we'll notice that trend is changing.
