This game should in my opinion be all about Tottenham. I must admit I was surprised with how well Spurs have performed against Arsenal. That’s why I’m confident that they will have no problems to beat Fulham.

In the first half against Arsenal Tottenham was the better team. They have played very well at the back, didn’t allow Arsenal to pass the ball around and had a lot of possession. It was pleasure to watch how confident they were, I have even more respect for them as their defensive line needed to be reorganized due to their injury problems. In the second half Arsenal scored an early goal, but in my opinion no team in the world would have been able to prevent it, it was just magnificent stuff from Fabregas. But Tottenham didn’t give up. They responded in a great manner. Robbie Keane hit the post and a minute later Berbatov scored an awesome goal, great set up by Keane. And they continued to play well and push forward, they got a penalty, however it was a very poor shot by Keane. But I must admit Juande Ramos is doing great job there. You just can’t compare Tottenham from the beginning of the season with what we get to see from them today. I don’t know if there’s any need for Ramos to change anything in the team after such a good display but if there is then Tottenham might have Rocha, Dawson, Jenas and Bent available again if they shake off their injuries in time. Tottenham needs to gather points and there will not be too many better chances than against Fulham.

Fulham are meanwhile managerless after the sacking of Lowrie Sanchez. They are not playing well at the moment and I don’t believe they will be able to stop Spurs from winning this one. They will probably concentrate on defending in this one and try to hit Tottenham on counter attack. However there’s such a big difference in the quality of Spurs defence now comparing with Jol’s era. It should be extremely hard for them to score.

I was surprised to see the odds of 2.20 for Tottenham winning on -1 handicap. I expected it to be around 1.90, but definitely not more than 2. So I had to take the chance. Considering Tottenham’s performance against Arsenal I’m quite confident of Spurs covering it.
