Although I have lost the last two picks in the Egyptian League, but I believe this one has almost a 100% chance of winning. Very strange handicap with high odds. Here are my reasons for this pick:

First of all, Ahly is something like Lyon in France and maybe more. They are currently on top of the league with a form 11-3-0. Although, they have started the league with a leaky defence, they haven't conceded in their last 4 league matches in which they have scored 7 goals. It's worth mentioning that two of these four matches were agasint ElGeish & Petrojet whom are currently the second and third of the league respectively.

Second, Baladeyya are poor travellers. It wouldn't matter in the first place because they're playing against Ahly, but imagine what this adds to the value of the pick. Baladeyya's away form is 2-0-4. The first win was a surprise one in the opening match of the league and the second win was against the second from bottom Ettihad who sacked their coach by the way few days ago.

Finally, this is the last match before a 40 days period break due to the African Cup of Nations. All Ahly's players will want to prove themselves before the international selection and thus expect them to play to their max.

Verdict: Unjustified huge odds that should be taken with maximum stakes. Ahly will win this one without no doubt.
