Galatasaray played first group game away to Bordeaux and lost 2-1 even they finished first half 0-1 and after a dominating 1. half they declined in the second half and conceded 2 goals. I could not give any meaning to that game as I watched the whole 90 minutes. After that game they played at home to Helsinborg, no matter how hard they tried and finding so many positions they conceded 3 goals at home and lost their 2. UEFA game under heavy rain 2-3 and again shocked me. But in their 3. game they remembered who they were and got a 0-3 victory away in Greece from Panionios. Too bad that they will be out tonight as it is not in their hand to qualify and a win from Panionios against Bordeaux is more than enough to qualify as French team are just visiting to see beautiful Greece, all newspapers are mentioning that they did not bring their first squad to Greece. Maybe the young players may do perform in order to prove themselves but a very well motivated Panionios will beat them most probably. Galatasaray is still struggling with the absences of Linderoth and Lincoln but we should’t forget that they have a very strong squad and especially such games like these they have no motivation challenge. I saw their last game against Sivas how strong and efficient they played and managed to score 2 goals 1 from Nonda who will play tonight and one nice shot from Baris. In that game they looked very fresh and desirous.
