This is probably going to be my only bet from the Championship this weekend as I look to stop the bleeding so to speak and hopefully make abit of cash from it. I'm going to try and be more selective now with my selections as this league is just so difficult to call as on their day, any team can beat anyone and this was probably justified with Coventry beating West Brom at the Hawthornes during the week.

Anyways, onto this game. This for me is the best pick from the championship games for the weekend.

Preston face Blackpool at Deepdale on Saturday looking to continue their recent positive form under new Manager Irvine as they look to pull themselves up the table and away from the bottom three. Their recent performances have been much improved and I can see this bet being probably the "public bet" in the Championship and although im alays not the greatest fan of that I will still take this play.

As I said, Preston are greatly improved lately including last weekends 1-0 defeat at Wolves, for sure they deserved something there from that game and were highly unlucky to not get anything from it. But during the week they had performaed even better and had claimed a morale boosting win over Hull. Billy Jones will also return here to further boost this Preston sides defence. So why would this not continue on Saturday against a stuggling Blackpool side?

Blackpool have come back from 1-0 down to claim a crucial away point at Scunthorpe on Monday night. But perhaps the result would have been much more different had Scunthorpe not been reduced to 10-men early in the second half when after, the game had completely changed. On top of this, their away form has been so poor all season, in fact, they have struggled home and away all season and in general, struggled to score goals which will always result in poor results. Why would these trends change here for this game?
