Championship - Leicester vs Southampton Football betting preview

Another play that i like is Leicester at home to the Saints.

Ian Holloway has had a decent start to his tenure at Leicester with two very decent performances against Bristol City last weekend at Ashton Gate where they had taken a 2-0 win and followed this up with another good performance against on Monday evening but were just unlucky not to win the game having missed a few decent chances and just not getting their luck on the night. Although they are currently struggling to find any fit strikers of late, Carl Cort does return for this game.

The main reasoning for wanting to take this bet is the state of injurys that this Sainst squad really does have. It's simply awfull and any squad in this league would struggle to contend with this. Darren Powell (calf), Wayne Thomas (Achilles),Claus Lundekvam (ankle), Alexander Ostlund (hamstring) and Chris Makin (hip) all missing.

Jhon Viafara and Inigo Idiakez are both out, although Andrew Surman will be fit. Alot of those injurys are to the defensive area which will be severly damaged for this game. I saw Saints during the week away to Ipswich, at points they passed the ball well, but just didn't have any cutting edge and created very little decent chances. I don't see them having much more luck against this Leicester defence that has been so strong of late.

I'll take Leicester here with the added benifit of a draw meaning half stakes are returned!
