Premiership - Sunderland vs Derby Football betting preview

Well this must be some relegation battle. Roy Keane's side were humiliated (7-1) by Everton playing with huge gaps at the back especially on the far sides. Paul Jewell is a respected figure and I think he may just manage to turn Derby's fortunes. I reckon he is a clever and able coach and I am almost certain that he won't be joining Derby out of the sudden. I believe he knows the team has potential, fans behind and some young players that were not used by Billy Davies. So it won't be a surprise to see some new faces in the first eleven for the visitors.

Sunderland have this secret weapon this season, as they somehow manage to get it in almost on every match. However at the back they are leaking and I can't see it getting any better earlier than January's transfer window. Derby in fact was the better side when they faced Chelsea and they were ' cheated' as Miller scored a beauty but it was canceled out wrongly as offside.

Sunderland have their attacking arrow Kenwyne Jones ready for this one missing only Nosworthy. Jewell has a full squad up and running and he is a great psychologist as he proved in the past when he had talentless Wigan but he managed to get 100% of his players on the pitch. I am thinking of Derby to score a shocker and then the game can go wild as we may see more goals. Not so confident though as 0-0 and 1-1 are also on the table for this one.
