Dallas has lost two matches in row. They have been really effective in the offence but their defence has been weak in their latest matches.

Last season teams played two matches where both teams won at home doing 187 and 203 points. Gilbert Arenas is out his sixth match in row but was then in both matches and even he has been weak this season he was then a big offensive power for Washington. Washington playing weak defence is a problem especially when Dallas has really effective shooters.

I think Dallas is trying to come over from their problems in the defensive end concentrating to the defensive end. Even Washington has got much points in their latest matches is Butler-Jamison duo lesser scary in the offence than Butler-Jamison-Arenas trio and easier to guard. Also Washington knows they can't beat Dallas if they'll allow Dallas to do much points so they might not necessarily try to keep tempo up and without Arenas I have a picture their matches have been a bit slower compared to last season when Arenas was fine but this might also be because teams are playing with different tactics.

I was thinking which bet is better. A whole game under or first half under when the total for the whole game is 210 points. Maby a bit surprising but in Washington's games in their last five matches without Arenas the teams have scored approximately 20 points less during the first half compared to second half. When considering Dallas has been a bit slow starter in their latest games the first half under might be better game but whole game under not a bad option either because waiting Dallas to take comfortable win so no much fouls and freethrows in the end. Can't say if there is a reason for 20 points difference or is it just random. Maby Washington is trying to control game more at the start but letting it loose when the game goes on.
