Not quite sure how Billy Davies expected Derby to survive in The Premier League with this Championship team. He's invested poorly and if you buy Championship level players thats where you'll end up playing. Its surely become abundantly clear already to fans, players and staff that Derby will be back where they belong next season. Languishing at the foot of the table with only 6 points from 13 matches and only 5 goals scored. But I'm not surprised at all. When youre 1st choice defense contains the likes of Andy todd, Andy Griffin and Darren Moore then you're gonna be in trouble. Likewise up front they have a whole host of unproven at top level strikers like Rob Earnshaw, Kenny Miller and Steve Howard. And when Matt Oakley is your best midfielder - Uh Oh.

Drubbed 5-0 at Home !!! by West Ham in their last game. You could see the players give up as soon as they conceeded the first goal. Put that alongside drubbings from Liverpool (6-0) Arsenal (5-0) and Spurs (4-0). Then consider Derby havent scored in 9 of their 13 matches and are without a goal int heir last 5. Bet they cant wait for Chelsea to roll into town on Saturday evening. You never know though.....Derby can't go on losing, week in, week out, for ever. The law of averages suggests that at some point they're going to click and come good - even if only for one or two random matches.
