NBA - Utah vs New Jersey Basketball betting preview

New Jersey has played without Carter four matches and they have done 77 points/match and allowed 90.25 points/match. Utah comes to home for a some time after losing their latest two matches.

I was thinking what is the factor that rises the total because I think it should be lower. The chance from New Jersey was to put rookie Sean Williams to the starting lineup for the first time against Miami where he played offensively a great game but even he had a great game he is supposed to be a bench player in this game according to the coach but who can say surely. Though he has had much blocks and rebounds in college what might make him more usefull in defence. Antoine Wright who is replacing Carter hasn't been able to response what is needed from him.

When watching Utah's results they have done much more points at home what might be rise the total. Still their opponents at home has been against Houston, 201 points, who are playing faster game this season, thanks for Adelman. Against Golden State 243 points, which is run and gun team without defence. Against Cleveland 204 points which is maby a high but they scored 65 points during the last quarter. Against Memphis 212 points but Memphis is also playing faster tempo this year. Their last home game was against Sacramento 210 points where Utah scored 117 and I think that is much thanks for Sacramento's defence which isn't the greatest.

I think New Jersey's only option is trying to keep the tempo slow as it has usually been in their games. For Utah it'd be better to play faster but seeing they'd do that. Both teams are pretty low what comes to the possessions and effectiness offensively. Defensively New Jersey's opponent's offences hasn't lasted long or short time but they haven't been good in scoring when Utah has been able to slow their opponen't offences well but also allowing them to do more damage from their offences compared to New Jersey.

The most intresting players in the match are the pointguards from both teams. Jason Kidd who has to take the game more to his shoulders than ever if some hope for New Jersey to end their losing streak and the new Jason Kidd from Utah, Deron Williams who has played some bad games in his last games and hopes to get his selfconfidence back.

The line has risen from 190,5 and maby I'm missing something but waiting to see slow game with good defensive work from both teams.
