Big and important game for Slovenian hockey is on TV today. I could say that this is the biggest derby of all slovenian sports at the moment.

ZM Olimpija Ljubljana had huge problems in this stage of the season - they lost 12/15 games and changed the coach who will lead the team today for the first time (Mike Posna). Their excelent goalie Alex Westlund is not in such a good form as he used to be, the team also have problems scoring and defending. Their morality is low at the moment and I'm sure that Mike Posna can't change this in such a short time.

Acroni Jesenice are currently second in the table, their winning row of 12 games has sopped in VSV and they were crashed for the first time at home by Vienna Caps with 0:5. So they lost 3/15 games but still playing very well. They sure skate better than Olimpija, score more goals and have equal goalie by quality. Robert Kristan also holds the record of shut-outs in this season. Form of Jesenice has dropped a bit, but they still are much better team.

Coaches Posna and Collins know each other from Switzerland's 2nd league, Collins believes that Posna can help Olimpija, but not in such a short time. The Tivoli hall will be full today, there will be around 1.500 fans from Jesenice, who are the best supporters in Slovenia and probably in EBEL also. Home ground advantage here doesn't play an important role.

I was also thinking of taking under in this game, but deicided not to, because both teams have great goalies and one of them is not in such a good form lately...@2.00 is worth 5/10 for me, although sure this isn't a sure bet. Jesenice lead 2:0 in h2h this year and today is the chance for 3:0.
