Kiev are not gonna qualify for the knockout stages of this competition without some kind of miracle and the best they can hope for is to finish 3rd in this group and therefore enter the UEFA Cup. I cant even see that happening as they have to travel away to Lisbon after entertaining Roma at home. Either way I dont think they will be going to Old Trafford tonight thinking they are gonna win this game.

We saw last night how some of these European teams play when they come to England when Liverpool destroyed Besiktas 8-0. Just like Liverpool struggled in the return leg in Turkey (getting beat themselves 2-1) I think United struggled in Kiev - Yet United WON over there 4-2. So what will United do to Kiev tonight in Manchester? We'll they shouldnt have to much to worry about. United will want to win this one and guarantee their passage into the knockout stages of this competition.

Man U have found their scoring touch over the last 8 matches knocking in 22 goals (2.75 goals per game). Yet they have leaked the odd goal lately. 2 at the Emirates on Sunday but Arsenal are the best footballing team around at the moment and there is no shame conceeding against them. A goal from Middlesbro at Old Trafford last week was the first conceeded there this season and cost me a few pennies but teams are gonna score there now and again. But if you look at their home form over the last few seasons you will se how many clean sheets United keep at Old Trafford.

I expect the defense to bounce back tonight and keep out a Kiev team who cant be 100% motivated tonight. The return of Hargreaves and Carrick to United's midfield will help protect that back four of Brown, Evra, Ferdinand and Vidic too.
