There is only few players who are able to beat Nadal nowadays and one of them is Youzhny. Nadal leads h2h with 5-3 record including thrilling victory in five sets in Wimbledon this year. Both players are in similar conditions right now - not great results in hard court season and effort to close season as best as they can. Youzhny had not bad weekend in St.Petersburg and some nice wins in Paris. I really like his attitude in court which is pretty similar to Rafa's - trying to put best effort even if things don't go well, being self-motivated all match. And maybe It is even more important for him to win matches in three sets, to boost confidence in close match. On the other hand Nadal is still unproven on hard in general. Of course He can win almost everyone with this big fighting spirit. But still He isn't succesful in many matches in a row. I can't say He played brilliant against Wawrinka and Volandri. Both opponents lead with break in first set, pushed very hard and then just simply collapsed. Nadal has great mental advantage over these kind of opponents. But not for Misha. Rafa knows that they had very tough matches before. And I can't see him less than 40% to beat Spaniard, that makes Misha as decent bet.
