I was pleasantly surprised to see the price as high as 1.9 with Canbet for this bet as I was expecting more in the region of 1.75 just like the other bookies have priced it up so far. So a bit of value on this at the moment.

This bet is all about Grays and their record of unders this season. Out of 17 league matches so far, 14 have finished under 2.5 goals (82%). 2 of their 3 "Overs" came at home, so 1 out of 9 away games has gone over! Only 10 goals in total in 9 away games. Goals for average 0.66, Goals against average 0.44. So like Ive pointed out before, Grays can defend their own goal much better than they can attack their opponents. Indeed only last night they played away at Lewes in a FA Cup replay and lost 2-0. Grays have failed to find the net in 10 of their 17 league games too. Dont be too put off by their last league game at home where they beat Northwich Victoria 3-1 as Vics are the whipping boys of the division.

Salisbury whilst only 2 places above Grays have a much better scoring record, especially at home where they have won 5 drawn 2 and lost only once all season. They have conceeded only 8 goals at home whilst have scored 15 themselves. Yet 4 of their last 5 home matches have finished Under 2.5.

If you were looking for a result you would have to think Salisbury look the more likely to take 3 points but with the Home win available at the same price 1.9 with a couple of the more clued up bookies I think the Under is a safer bet whilst Canbet are offering the 1.9. Especially as Grays have already held Torquay, Oxford Utd and Halifax Town to goal less draws away from home.
