Premiership - Manchester United vs Middlesbrough Football betting preview

This bet is fairly obvious and doesnt really need too much explanation so I'll keep it quite short. I predict a Man Utd clean sheet here, but the great thing about this bet is we also get a Boro clean sheet thrown in just in case of a big upset.

Man United have yet to conceed a single goal at Old Trafford in either the Premier League or the Champions League. Thats clean sheets against Reading, Spurs, Sunderland, Chelsea, Wigan and Roma. Fairly impressive I'd say. Ferdinand and Vidic are the lynchpins of the United defence and as long as they are fit and play then I'm confident of a shut out. Brown and O'Shea will probably complete the back four and whilst they are probably not first choice full backs they should be able to do the job at home where very few teams attack Man United down the wings.

With only 3 goals in their last 6 games and only 3 away goals in total this season, Middlesbrough dont look like the being the 1st team to score at Old Trafford do they.... Only Mido of Boro's forwards has scored this campaign, but I rate Downing as Boro's best chance to get a goal. still I cant see it and this price is just too good to pass up for this bet.



I'm posting it it this early as I dont think the price will stick around and will probably be cut to around 1.62 or 1.66 shortly. This current price from Bet365 beats anything available for Man Utd Clean Sheet, Man Utd win to Nil, and comes with the added insurance of a freak Boro win to nil
