Gray's Athletic used to be a team you count count on being involved in high scoring matches......not any more....15 league matches so far this season and 13 have finished under 2.5, 2 over 2.5 !!! 12 goals in 15 matches is goal shy enough, but 5 of those goals came in one match....forget that freak result a moment and you are looking at 7 goals in 14 games!!! No wonder they find themselves down in 19th place in the league. Its not that their defence is that bad, on the cantrary - its the best defensive record in the league!! Away from home they have only conceeded 4 goals in 8 games this season (just 1 every 96minutes). So they cant score yet they can defend !! No wonder their matches produce little goals!!!

Halifax have fared a bit better so far this season but are only 2 places higher in the league than Gray's. They are yet to lose at home - 3 wins, 4 draws. Have kept 3 clean sheets at home, only conceeding 6 goals in 7 games. Gray's have the long travel up north to get to Halifax and I'd have to side with the home team if I was picking a result.

But the best news as far as this bet is concerned though is this....... Halifax have scored 22 goals this season in the league, 14 of them courtesy of ....Jon Shaw (7), Anthony Griffith (2) and Andy Campbell (5) .....Yet all 3 of these guys are out for tonights game!!!

Considering Gray's lack of goals, Great defensive record and Halifax's lack of firepower up front, we should see a low scoring contest tonight....Will Gray's play out their 10th Under on the run ????? Hope so.......
