NHL - Buffalo Sabres vs Toronto Maple Leafs Hockey betting preview

Ok.This is my banker today as Maple Leafs travel to faca the Sabres.

This will be a good game.Fast movement of the puck, odd man rushes, plenty of shooting and of course - Goals.This game is destined to go over 5,5, but I have decided to take secure bet here and play hand-in-hand with statistics.

Both teams are delivering game after game full of goals.Wheter its winning or loosing, goals are something that we dont miss. Sabres attack (especially after loosing Drury) was suppose to be less efficent this season, but the offensive addition of their back liners fills in for the loss.I must say one thing I have been seeing on Sabres play for past couple of seasons - they seem to be slow and laisy in the first period, but somehow turn on the heat and get into great momentum in the second period.The same thing goes for Leafs, who are over 1,5 in the second for all their games this season.And that is quality stats to back this bet.

Toronto,is showing inconstistent display right niow, and Im not able to predict what they do next game.Sundin has been productive regarding assists, but he will have to step up his game regarding goal scoring.Still, Leafs are a kind of a team that can produce goals ,,out of nowhere,, meaning from any line(unlike Atlanta or Columbus for instance).

Goalies are solid (Toskala/Toronto, Miller/Buffalo) but that are not the highlight of the match up.

One more time, statistically the match ups of these two teams deliver many goals - 6,75 is the average from last 8 games.

This should be a comfortable over 5,5 game, even 6,5 , but I will go for, IMO, secure 2nd period over 1,5.
