I said many times this season that I do not rate Middlesbrough high this season at all. I never like this team under Southgate and without the loss of their two best players from last season, I think that Middlesbrough will have tough season.

Man. City, although many people were skeptic how they will perform under low-rated Eriksson in English football and with so many newcomers, they proved them that their team is well composed with great individuals. In the last round they overplayed Newcastle in all segments of the game. I rate Middlesbrough as weaker team than Newcastle in all areas and their opponent is enjoying great start of the seasons which leads to conclusion that Middlesbrough have only slight chances to get something from this match.

Man City is still without Bianchi, Vassell and Bojinov, but they played big part of the matches without them. Boro’s missings are much important, Tuncay and Mido are doubtful and even with both of them Middlesbrough is not very dangerous in the attack.

I believe that Man. City will play their game and how they are playing lately, I believe in home win.
