Ok.I simply love this match-up as Thrash takes on Caps Friday night.

This has always been a good offensive match-up,6-7 goals per game and usually ATL taking a win by a goal or so.IMO this might continue today...

ATL is a strong team offensively,Hossa,Kovalchuk, Holik but does impress me in the defence, perhaps bright light on young goalminder Lehtonen.They play fast and try to fire from all positions, but often fail to come into defence fast enough.

Caps on the other hand, have been one man team for past couple of seasons, building their play around star Ovechkin.This yera however, Alex got some additional help in attack in form of Nylander and V.Kozlov.This experience should improve on their attack and also Nylander might aid in the defence.New signing for Caps is also quality defenceman Poti.

All in all, IMO we will see another of the standard games between these two, but this time I give 60 percent chance to visiting Caps as they have the strenght to surprise in early season.They surely wont fall by two goals so backing them on handicap is a right bet for me.Try Over 5,5 if you prefer the goal bets.
