Short preview. Portsmouth has not had the best start they wished… but in overall, they have done not bad. In Fratton Park, they will have some really good home advantage… and they will be boosted with the return of Campbell and Mwaruwari. However, they will have a rather difficult task ahead of them… which will be to defeat the arguably most in-form team at the moment Liverpool. Unlike their previous seasons, Liverpool has one of the best starts under Benitez. Going into the match as the league leaders, the Reds will be hoping to maintain their lead… even though it is only by goal difference. Carragher will be back for the match… but Finnan is doubtful while Gerard might not start after his international appearances… but then again, Liverpool have some better squad depth… and Benitez will have some better options for cover. Now, Liverpool’s visits to Fratton Park have not always ended up fruitful… but this season’s Liverpool certainly looks a lot better than their previous seasons. Portsmouth will be a tough nut to crack at Fratton Park… but considering the fire power the Reds have… and their miserly defense (no natural goals conceded yet), I believe they will be able to edge out their third win in a row. Therefore, Liverpool at -3/4 AH will be my choice. Good Luck!~!
