I really do not like Middlesbrough this season. They lost their best strikers from past seasons, Yakubu and Viduka and replaced them with Aladiere and Mido. I like Mido, he can be threat to the opposition defense, but he has little support from his teammates. Middlebrough traditionally is not strong visitor team and this season, although, they won against Fulham away, they are not nothing special. After the first two losses in the first two matches, Middlebrough won two and drew one in the last three matches.

West Ham sent a lot of money to make competitive team this season and they are still not showing their real potential. They lost the first match from Manchester City and since then they are without a loss for three matches, winning both away matches and drawing at home with Wigan. In their last match, they trashed Wigan and played really good match with inspiring performance by Bellamy. West Ham is pretty strong in the offensive part of the game, but their defense is not on high level.

For this match, West Ham cannot count on long term Faubert and recently injured Dyer, but the returning of Ljungberg and Parker will settle the things. Middlesbrough is still without Pogatetz and Huth, but Woodgate is commanding his defense pretty well.

I believe that West Ham is stronger team on the paper and with the owner and the fans expecting some good display at home, I believe that West Ham will take the control of the match from the beginning and not let Middlesbrough to get away with points.
