Short preview. Nagoya suffered a poor defeat at the hands of Gamba… and the absence of Johnsen was deeply felt. I don’t have any news if he will be starting in this match… but with or without him, Nagoya’s morale will not be too high when the entertain Kashima. Kashima bounced back from their thrashing by Gamba with a good win over Kawasaki… and though it was a home match, it will be good for their morale. The return of Magnum has been a boost… and together with Ogasawara and co, they are still with a chance to catch up with the top two. Now as usual, Nagoya is one inconsistent team… and with Kashima’s desperation for points… I don’t think the host will have a good time entertaining the visitors. Kashima do not have a good H2H record at the Mizuho Stadium… but with their current capabilities, they can still edge out a win from this match. Therefore, Kashima at -1/2 AH will be my choice.
