I had this bet in mind at the start of the week and whilst not overwhelmed with the odds on offer when they came out, my opinion was only re-inforced when I read these quotes from Israeli captain Yossi Benayoun on Israel's style of play....

"I don't care whether people say we are negative or not negative," said the Israel captain. "We drew with England in Israel 0-0, which was a great result for us, and I will be happy to defend again and finish with the same result.

"You don't expect us to come to England and Wembley to play an open game and end up being 3-0 down after 20 minutes. We need to work hard in defence and work on quick attacks, hopefully steal a goal and draw or win the game."

Hardly inspiring from their chief creative force is it !!

England have only conceeded 2 goals in this competition so far against Croatia and have a fairly formidable back line which really shouldnt have any problems containing Israels forwards.

Anyway, I see England pressing a lot in this game and Israel chances few and far between. This bet should be safe as long as there are no goalkeeping calamities, which to be honest cant be completely ruled out !!!
