This line is too big in my pespective. IMO there is no difference in quality of these player, so this should be a close one. Roddick was in better form before the US Open, he played on 5 tournaments before the grand slam winning one title (Washington). On the other hand Berdych played only in Montreal, where he was very disappointing when he was eliminated by Hasse in the first round, and in Cincinnati where was beaten by Davydenko in the 3rd round. But it seems that he has raised his form and his game, in the 3rd round he won in-form Verdasco in straight sets. Roddick trashed Johansson in the previous round, but in the two first sets ToJo practically won himself, he was very bad that day and Roddick just took the chance win in style. Both players will be relying on their good serve, I don't expect many breaks, so IMO there is large chance of a TB. Roddick is playing with home support and it will be very hard for Berdych to beat him today, but he can take at least one set and I expect much closer match than these odds reflect, so this HC line on Berdych is a good bet IMO.
