Short preview. Liverpool has been pretty impressive so far… and with their good squad depth, Benitez will make changes again after their impressive 4-0 win over Toulouse in midweek. I don’t think it will matter to their fans now on who will start upfront… and who will be playing on the right… or left. Torres, Kuijt, Crouch and Voronin have all showed what they are capable of… while Babel, Benayoun, Pennant and co have all been impressive. Playing at Anfield will be a major advantage to the Reds… as they will be expected to stroll over strugglers Derby for another three points. Derby has yet to win a match… and they will be hoping their most recent acquisition Miller will be able to help them out in terms of scoring goals. However, Miller will not be able to start in this match having missed the 12 noon registration deadline… and Davies will have to rely on his current available players (bugged by a pretty long injury list though) for this match. Now, playing Liverpool at Anfield is never an easy task… and although there will be no Gerard and Carragher for the Reds for this match, the Reds have enough squad depth to cover for them. While Derby will most likely improve their offense with Miller joining them… nothing is done to improve their defense. That will be bad… as Liverpool is playing a very fast attacking game. Meanwhile, Liverpool has still yet to concede a “natural” goal (both goals conceded were penalties)… and Hyppia, Agger, Reina and co will be sufficient enough to keep another clean sheet for them. I believe Liverpool will be the hottest favorites of all matches… but I don’t like the AH offered. However, since Torres did not start in midweek, I believe he will in this match… and with him around, chances are good that he will score. Therefore, Torres to score at anytime will be my choice.
