Match between Dudi Sela and Nicolas Lapenti.

Some could be suprised that this quite unknown player from Israel is placed as favourite, but IMO odds are realistic, and there are quite some factors to reflect that. First of all, Lappentti's condition is questionable, when he resigned in New Haven with neck injury, then I must add that Lapentti played only 4 matches on hard this year and he lost 3 of them (win against Alan Mackin?! in AO), and he is much more comfortable on slower surfaces. On the other hand Sela played a lot of matches on hard this year, he is 4-2 in major events and 26-9 in CH level. He has qualified for this tournament so he is familiar with courts on which they will be playing and I see this as another advantage for Sela. Although Sela hasn't got much ATP experience, I think he will take the chance to beat veteran from Ecuador. Normal stakes, because Sela in unexperieced on ATP level.
