Although bookies put Nieminen as favourite, I see a value in Verdasco. I expect a very even match, because these guys are more or less on the same level on hard courts at the moment IMO. Verdasco did a good job in Montreal beating Chela and Gasquet, but was then won by Dancevic, in Cinci he was eliminated by A-Rodd. Yesterday he won Spadea after losing the first set, but he showed good form. On other hand Nieminen is also playing good on US hard courts, yesterday he won Loper in 3 setter. I was disapointed in Cinci when he lost against Almagro, he played really bad, altough he had two impressive wins over Spadea and Robredo. These players met twice so far, Nieminen won both times, once on hard. Verdasco in quite good form lately and I think he will win today, but I wouldn't put my money on it, because I expect an even match and probably 3 sets, so over 23 games is the best option IMO.
