Third round in Cincinatti, and I'm a little suprised to see Almagro here. He reached the 3rd round by beating Mayer and Ljubicic, but today he will be facing a player that is in better form than those two I think he will probably lose. This is Almagro's second competition on hard surface lately, in Montreal he was eliminated in the 1st round by Russel; this year, he is 4-6 on hard, which is a bad record, but he is much more competent on clay surface. On other hand Nieminen played last weak in Montreal also, but Davydenko won him in second round. In this tournament he has two impressive wins over Spadea and Robredo, he found his game and I think will handle Almagro also. Niemnien is just better player on hard IMO and Almagro will have a very difficult job maintaining the same level of game against him. These players met once so far, Nieminen won him in Sopot on Almagro's strongest suface - clay.
