There is not much to be said about Jablonec. Their start into the season was very bad, despite they played strong opponents. In the first league they met Slavia. Slavia's defence did not allow the Jablonec players to approach the net. After the match trainer's assistant said players of Slavia were better as individuals and were running more a faster than Jablonec players.
In fact exactly the same thing we could see yesterday. Well, Jablonec played at Teplice with red-hot striker Fenin (who scored the only goal of the match). In Teplice there were many scouts from foreign leagues interested to see probably the best player of the U20 world cup silver medalists. Therefore I would expect the players to be eager to show they are good as well. This could have been said about Teplice players, but for sure not about Jablonec.
From the 20th minute of the match Teplice were down in 10 men, still Jablonec was not able to put them under pressure. They were slower, combinations were horrible and had problems with opponent's free kicks. Teplice on the other hand played more than an equal game with Jablonec. I don't remember the numbers exactly, but despite being down in 10 men only for more than 70 minutes Teplice had about 10 corner kicks while Jablonec only 3.
As I mentioned, I think the players are too slow. But what's worse, the fact they were not able to put 10-men Teplice under pressure and they had problems to defend free kicks tells me their new coach Kozel is not the best replacement for Rada, who left for Teplice during the summer break.
BTW, as I read there is no big interest in travelling to Wien to see the match among Jablonec fans.
I don't know much about Austria, but as they haven't lost yet, played 6 league matches, while Jablonec only 2, good result and therefore good mood in hand from the weekend, longer preparation period (as Admira played on Friday, while Jablonec on Sunday in the evening + travelling from Teplice and to Wien) I can't see Jablonec bringing any points from Wien.
