At last the holiday is over and Tippeligaen is about to start again. The first match of this 14th round is between Sandefjord and Lyn.

Sandefjord are last in the league and will struggle to survive this year. They don't have the depth in their squad and will have problems if injuries and suspensions come, as in their last game against Lillestrøm. They have played decent at home this year and today is the grand opening of their new stadium. It's expected to be full for tonights game, and those surroundings might give Sandefjord an extra kick. Even though they have lost 4 out of 7 home games, they have good a job, losing with one goal to Rosenborg and Brann and 0-2 last game against Lillestrøm.

Sandefjord will get Knarvik and Adriano back for this game. They were both suspended in the last game against Lillestrøm. Thorsen will be back from injurie and Sohna back from international duty. Lyn are 5th in the league and a contendor for topp 3 this year. Have played good soccer during the first half of the season, topping it with 6-0 against Brann. But for todays game against Sandefjord, they have some problems in their squad.

Gislason is sold, which will be a great loss for Lyn. He have been playing excelent soccer this year and will be missed. Their young Nigerian forward Edu is suspended to this match , while Powell and Hoff are injuried. Hoff, Edu and Gislason have been very important for Lyn this year, while Powell always is dangerous when he is on the field.

Their only win on the road have been the 1-0 victory against Start last round

So Sandefjord will go to this game with a strengthen team while Lyn have some problems in their offense. I hold this as a pretty even matchup and the bookies are offering about 2,75 - 3 for Sandefjord, which might be a good play.
