I would struggle to put into words my dislike of Cadel Evans. Touted as a tour favourite he never seems to have the confidence to go on the attack and allways seems content to ride behind everyone else rather than put in the effort himself.

I dont think he was as comfy as Kasheshkin on stage 8 bu the real reason for this pick is the whopping disparity in their odds. There is no way on earth Kasheshkin should be a 2.8 outsider to beat Evans. The chances are they will roll home together anyway so its a coin flip.

Just how good is Andrey Kashechkin? We dont really know. He played the perfect teammate to Vino in the Vuelta and once again has quietly ridden his own race. With Vino's injuries and Kloden looking like being given the task of looking after him surely Kasheshkin will be allowed to ride his own race now?

He sat at the back of the breakaway in stage 8, he was never going to attack and put time into his teammates so we have no idea how comfy or otherwise he felt.

I have been supremely impressed by Kasheshkin and he is a future tour winner in my opinion.

2.80 just makes no sense.
