Viking have started the season as expected and are on a 5th place with the same amount of points as number 3 and 4, Lillestrøm and Rosenborg. They have played good soccer lately, but lost last game against Stabæk 2-1, which isn't a bad result at Nadderud (Stabæk were 4-1-0 last 5 games). Peter Ijeh have found his scoring form and are topping the topscorer chart with 7 goals this year. Viking have won 3 of the 5 last games this season with HC.

Brann are topping the table and have been really good this first half of the season. But the 2 last games they have shown that they are not unbeatable. They lost last weekend 6-0!!! against Lyn, while they only managed 2-1 against Ålesund midweek. Their forward, Bengt Sæternes (5 goals) are suspended for the match.
