Short preview. Kobe was outplayed by Niigata… but that was pretty expected… and their away performances have never been outstanding anyway. This round they will be at home… and though Kobe is currently eleventh in the league, they are one of the three teams that have yet to be defeated at home. It’s only that they are drawing too many matches… but they should have the slight edge when the host Oita. Oita was pretty lucky to get a draw in their previous home match against Kashima… but they will be the visitors this week… and they away performances are poor. Takahashi will be the threat from Oita… but relying too much on him will not be fruitful too. Now, judging from their previous performances… Kobe will have the upper hand… especially when the home advantage is with them. They have been scoring pretty regularly recently… and their defense at home is much stronger. Oita has the capability to spring a surprise or two… but their away performances are just too poor to give any pundit any confidence at all. Therefore, Kobe at -1/4 AH will be my choice.
