Well I continue to back underrated Verdasco. He didn't dissapoint me against Ferrer. Even more - He stayed calm and confident in critical points and could take match around in second set when He was down 3-5. And Ferrer didn’t play bad at all. Simply Verdasco was too good for him. Actually I watched Verdasco quite often in last few years but never seen Nando such a focused all time without mental issues. It isn’t easy because He plays „hit or miss” tennis and one out could be a turn around point. So I’m really happy that He avoid it. Now he reached RG 1/8 final first time in his career but I see He couldn’t stop there. Yes Djokovic isn’t easy opponent. He is one of promising young stars in mens tennis and ATP rank proves it. He loves to play on clay but somehow He struggle this year with just one title in Estoril where he easily could crashed out in first round being 2-5 down in third set against Andreev who is similar style player as Verdasco but couldn’t take his chance. Also this year results in Paris( TB vs Giraldo, lost set vs Recouderc and 5 set drama vs Patience) isn’t raising my confidence about Nole especially last one where He definetly deserved to loose but luckily Frencman struggle physicaly. So I just take more confidente player with better odds than I expected.
